Anyone who read my interview last December may recall my perfect day - a whole day at the beach with my children.... Well...


I just found out I'm going to be able to fly up to Maine to see my kids at the beach for a few days!!!!

I leave the 19th and return the 25th - they'll be working except for the weekend, but I'll happily take whatever time I can get. Abby is 21 now, applying to med schools and working in research and development in a huge pharmaceutical company this summer and Henry is 18 and applying to colleges. (I am *** now and exhausted when I think about when I was their age....)

Just to get myself in the spirit, I was looking through old beach pictures and found this one of me with the kids in 1997. My, how things have changed!
