Most of us tend to think of vandas as huge plants with dinner plate sized flowers but the vandaceous family is very diverse and we have tiny Asccocentrums to gigantic Vandopsis and Vandas.
Here is an uncommon small size vandaceous hybrid between Ascocentrum miniatum X Paraphalaenopsis serpentilingua. The plant is about 8 inches tall and has already bloomed more than 8 times usually with 2 spikes. The flowers are small, about an inch across and coloured a bright orange. I have included a picture of it together with another small vandaceous Doricentrum Pulcherrimin ( pictures of which I posted recently) for comparison as they both have similar size flowers.
