I enjoy seeing pictures of spikes and roots and orchids doing fun stuff. I thought i'd post a few to get the ball rolling. I hope you all will add a few of your fun pictures as well...
The B. nodosa is spiking. I was suprised to see spots on the tiny forming buds.
Schomb. Tibiana skipped blooming earlier this summer, but it looks like this one may throw a spike.
This vanda has decided I'm not moving it again and has attached itself onto the trellis in a way that cannot be removed. I was supposed to remove it earlier this summer and forgot. Looks like it's staying. lol
This plant was bought at the orchid show last year and has been blooming every 3 or 4 months. It will have yellow flowers that shimmer in the sunlight.
Okay...your turn. Got spikes or roots or new growth? I hope you will add your pictures...
