I've been trying to grow a couple of phals on ollas. They're clay pots that allow water to sweat through the walls at a slow rate. It takes 4-5 days for all the water to sweat out of the pot. After 2 or 3 months both phals have grown new roots and this one has grown two new flower spikes, but the roots stay just above the surface of the pot and don't attach to the clay. I'm thinking that I might need to let the pot dry out and maybe then they'll attach. Any suggestions?
