    Default Rhyncorides Springtime

    Rhrds Springtime (Aer lawrenceae x Rhy gigantea ), so very aptly named. Registered in 1979 by O Kirch of Hawaii, this is one of the most attractive primary hybrids of the vandaceous tribe. Yet for all its beauty I could only find 2 pictures when I googled and they weren't particularly pretty. I bought it in Feb of 2012 as a blooming size plant but had to wait a year to see the first blooms. Needless to say I'm extremely pleased with these blooms.
