Pteroceras on Plastic

I tried mounting the pteroceras on a pillar of charcoal held together by a plastic mesh, with more exposure to sunlight. I separated some parts from the mother plant planted in the shade and attached to a Christmas palm.

Well, it thrives, but I notice that the flowers don't have the usual scent. Maybe it's the direct sun. I can't detect any scent at all. Aside from an occasional leaf burn, and the absence of the scent, everything is else is alright.
