Cirrhopetalum Sandi Ting is (Cirr. sikkimense x Cirr. makoyanum).

The buds were closed, and still small this morning. When I got home from the office I found that they had, in the words of Strong Bad's computerized giant disembodied head, a-sploded. 14 blooms on this umbel; clearly too many for an orderly arrangement. Also, in some of them the lateral sepals split apart, making the whole thing look really messy. Still nice, but not a good presentation. The other spike has only 10 buds on it, so it might turn out prettier.

Smell is faint, mildewey/ozone.
