it looks like the second name would be correct... Paph philippinense is a multifloral, hence the number of flowers on the infloresecence (it looks like 3 flowers). Even if you had grown the Maudiae type very very well, at most you might get two flowers, and that is a rare occurence. With regards to the mottled leaves, the Paph Somers Isle is a 'Maudiae' type so, that would give you the type of leaves you have here.

I look forward to seeing this in full bloom... I have a couple of these philippinense x "Maudaie-type" crosses and so would be a nice to see how they turn out.
