My first new posting for some time ; my wife has been poorly, and spending 4 hours every day traveling to and fro visiting her whilst she was in intensive care ( I went twice a day,) left no time for anything more than a quick splash over all the orchids now and then. Now she is home again, albeit not her normal self, I have a little time ( and am shocked to discover how rapidly pests multiply and disperse throughout the collection in a few weeks of warm sunny weather..I have started cleaning every plant individually , but with a lot to do , that is not going to be done in less than months, by which time the first ones may be reinfected...
But to the Potinara - now getting nicely established on a small branch ( maybe Elderflower ? ) so that the latest, and flowering bulb is the biggest yet. It pleases me !
