    Default Orchid searching in Mexico

    Here are a few 'scanned' images from around my home area... in Colima State in mexico.

    1. 'Central Plaza' of Tamala, Colima, Mexico. The tree is LOADED with Barkeria palmeri... and a search of surrounding trees did not turn up anymore Orchid plants... It seems that the Barkerias like ONLY this tree. [btw... not me in the pic... but my good friend Jesus Aguilar... also my very dependable van... 500K plus miles].

    2. looking 'up' into the same tree... I estimate that there were more that 600 plants in this tree... and yet... not another Orchid within 300 meters.
