Are they called mini because of the small size of whole plant or due to the size of flowers? Few years ago I got two as you describe mini, and now leaves are much bigger than when I got them. They did not rebloom yet (probably because I was repotting them into much bigger pots so they just grow roots) so I don't know what size of flower they will produce now.
