Default Visit to Nepal December 2014

I was absent from this Forum for the most part of December 2014. I mentioned in some of my posts prior to this period that I would be visiting Nepal with my eldest (53years old) and youngest (42) sons from Dec 6 - 21 - actually both of them paid for my trip. Aware of my age they decided to do an easy trek to the Dhampus Hills and Nagarkot to 9000 feet to see the sunrise and sunset over the Annapurna Range of the Himalayas (5 days), 3 days in Chitwan National Park and the rest of the time, the cultural tour of the heritage sights in Kathmandu Bhaktapur, and Pokhara. I took around 2500 pix, my eldest about 3000 and the youngest about 2500.

Here are some shots of the mountains, particularly the Annapurna Range and some animals of Chitwan that we sighted. Of course the Bengal tiger was a shot of a lifetime! The guide told us that we were extremely lucky to see a tiger as only 4 or 5 sightings are recorded by visitors in a year.

Pix #1 Me, my sons & Binod, the tour operator and chief guide (5***** rating)
Pix #2 (Can't resist posting this pic from Pokhara)
Pix #3 Village of Hemja, start of the Dhampus Trek, a short distance from here
Pix #4 In the shadows of the Annapurna Range
