Aha, yes - that was Odontoglossum bictoniense, as we used to call it . Named for the orchid collection at Bicton House - a big country estate in South Devon ( South -west UK ) . Now I think a local authority home for problem kids ! By coincidence, I drove past it last week , on my way to a walking holiday on the moors. Not that I can see anything of O.bict' here !
