Hi, my friend has just bought me an orchid.

I have never had one before and I am slightly scared of it!

I am aware that they don't need much watering, but I gave it a very light watering on the day I got it and it has since started drooping. The water drained out of the bottom it didn't settle and it is potted in a sort of woodchip

Can anyone help me is it overwatered or underwatered? And also in identifying which type of orchid it is?

I have done as the instructions said and placed it in a sunny room away from direct sunlight.
