Lc in need of repotting

This is one of my first orchids of about 2 years old. I know spring is usually the best time to repot but I was just wondering how harmful if any would it be to do now. I soaked it for a few hows and the roots are not releasing easily from the plastic pot. It is still warm and humid here in Louisiana even though the light hours are less. I will be putting it in a plastic pot with coconut husk lining. Probably a bad idea but would appreciate some comments.
