Man, the more I look at it the more I'm convinced you should divide it. Looks like the part that is attached to the tree is on the left in the 1st image. In any case I would cut it where it meets that branch. Glenn's suggestion of using zip ties to attach the rest to another branch is really good. Those things are strong as heck! Flowers are gorgeous!
