An orchid native to Southeast Asia including the Philippines. At first, this orchid grows as terrestrial. With a taller plant or tree nearby, its aerial roots will cling to the host plant. The basal roots will rot and the plant will start to grow as epiphyte. The exact scientific name for the species in the Philippines is disputed, other refer this orchid as Dipodium fevrellii.
