Here is one of my plants of this lovely species - all the ones I have are the same clone, part of a plant I grew up to fill a 15 inch pan with half a dozen flowering leads - I put it up for an RHS award when it was at its best - didn't get one ; asked why not, was told - we have seen better ; I asked when ? and was told in 1904.... That's the RHS system, or lack of it - they make up their own rules as they go along. And as I used to be quite rude to them, quite frequently, when they seemed to be giving awards to perfectly standard forms ( of newish paphs - in the days when I had the UK National Collection of paphs) it was only natural that they would at least think " and here's a raspberry to you, too Geoff).
I grew this in a shallow pan, actually a plant saucer, so only an inch or two of compost at the most, and hanging up near the roof - they seem to like a lot of light. So it got burnt and dried up during one of our family crises, when the orchids were a bit neglected. So When I got back to it, I repotted and divided, and threw the worst bits away , and here I am 2 or 3 years later with several pieces now up to flowering size again. They are tough things, these orchids of ours .

btw I found snail having its breakfast on the lip - which accounts for the holey bits !
