Because it's winter I got a new Paphiopedilum yesterday. It was marked "Paphiopedilum Femma". OrchidWiz does not mention Femma so I assume it's not registered. As I got this from a large chain plant outlet I don't expect it to be something special, but I was pleased that it was marked better than "Slipper orchid".

I repotted it and wanted to create a correctish label, but was a bit unsure what to write (yes, I know; as a hobby grower with no show/trade ambitions I can write whatever I like, but I'd like it to be as correct as possible). According to the leafs it's a maudiae? I ended up with Paphiopedilum Maudiae 'Femma'. How far from the perfect tag is this? Should Maudiae be with a lowercase m?
