Well after trying to rescue the poor rootless plant I have mentioned before I decided to find some nice healthy plants to grow also. I found a place online since my local grower only offers plants at retail prices. ($55.00 for a single spike Phal.) Although I own an online based retail store I’m not a fan of online buying. I like to pay and walk out with my items. However, I figured for the savings I would try to learn to have a little patience. I ordered a few plants on Tuesday the 22nd and it wasn’t until I paid that I realized that they only ship on Mondays, with my patience that would have been a deal breaker. But, I figured what’s done is done so just wait. Well the next Wednesday I emailed them to find out if the order had gone out, mainly to find out the progress but also because we were still having high temps and I didn’t want them to sit out on the porch too long. I was informed that they went out Tuesday and should arrive USPS in about 3 to 4 days. Friday came no plants, Saturday came no plants, Now they would have to sit around the Post Office until Tuesday (holiday). Well, Tuesday no plants. That evening I emailed the store about this problem. No response Wednesday. This morning I contacted them again via email and fax. A rep. emailed me back stating that the package had been delivered last Thursday, and sent me the tracking number. Sure enough it was recorded to have been delivered on Thursday of last week. So I geared up and headed to the P.O.. The carrier quickly informed me that if it shows delivered he must have delivered it, end of story. Well we have a history of him leaving slips in our box to pick up a package at the P.O. because we were not home when he tried to deliver it. Funny thing is we both work for home and was here every time. Too lazy to get out of his truck. Well he gave me a number to report it stolen. Long story shortened J I ended up talking to the postal inspectors office for this area and still their outlook was oh well, and it took talking to 6 people to even get a sorry out of someone. At one point I was being treated like it was my fault. So there go the money and my trust in ordering products online.
