ok, tell me if there is anything i can do. I was grooming my orchids this evening, giving them a spritzer, removing stray material from around their pots. I picked up my Colmenara Wildcat (sp?) and inspected some handsome new growth. When I looked between the leaves I thought that I spotted some potting material that was stuck down in the crevice. I dug and plucked it out only to realize (to my absolute shock and horror) that I had just plucked the tip off a new spike!! This would be my first earned spike on this plant! Have I completely blown it? Will the spike continue to develop after its been (ahem) circumcized? What have I done! Tell me there is still hope.
