I had an equestris doing the same thing, Bruce. It got hit with some sort of rot, so I had to chop the spikes to be nice to the plant. Unfortunately, I can't say what will boost it to blooms.

But it has to be one of the usual suspects: light, water, temp, fert. The species are so fussy! I read today about how some Dends best bloom if you go heavy water/fert followed by little/water fert, and repeat until they bloom.

Unfortunately, neither Christensen nor Cootes offer any info on culture.
