I haven't considered doing this before, but I have a slew of phals on order that are scheduled to arrive in about a week. They will all arrive bare-root so I will have to pot them immediately. What do you guys think about potting multiple phals in one pot, specifically a long, narrow pot with the phals lined up like a toy train. Is this a bad idea? What might I expect from three or four plants in such close proximity? Any discussion on the idea would be helpful. Thanks,
