This little baby is in bloom now. This specific plant is Albopurpurea, but is also called Thompsoniana minor. The only difference between the 2 is location. Albopurpurea is specifically from the Caymans, and Thompsoniana minor is from the Bahamas/Jamaica, and else where in the caribbean. This is a nice clump of Albopurpurea, and there are very few people I know of that has clump of this size in their collection. This was gift from my good friend Paul Storm, and was wild collected in Caymans only last year. Enjoy
Edit: I also forgot to mention that if there was a "mini" in the schomburgkia family, this one and thompsoniana minor would be considered the "mini's" of the family. The psuedos are only around 4-5 in, and the flowers are about 2-3 in across.
