Hello, I have a question of a plant's i.d. I bought a Phrag. about one month ago, the tag says:
Phrag. Sorcerer's Apprentice 4n x amazonica "birchwood". But when I searched the internet I found nothing with this cross.

However, while searching for that cross, the name lindleyanum 'birchwood' popped up, so I swapped amazonica with lindleyanum in the search and found many references and sellers of
Phrag. Sorcerer's Apprentice 4n x lindleyanum 'Birchwood'.

Should I assume that the tag is inncorectly marked, with the wrong or old and defunct species name amazonica?

I hope that this is only a mis-lable of the name,. There is a bud but it is awhile from opening. Does phrag. amazonica even exist? I found very little searching for it, so I think that the name is just plain wrong wrong.

What do you think? Based on some searches I think that some posters here might own it. Is it a Phrag. Sorcerer's Apprentices' 4n x Phrag. amazonica 'Birchwood'- which I cant find online. or is it a mislabeling of Phrag. Sorcerer's Apprentice 4n x Phrag. lindleyanum 'Birchwood'
