    Talking Encyclia cochleata

    I visited the North of England Orchid show in Cheshire last year and was so taken with this Encylia I just had to have it. The blooms remind me of little octopus. Needless to say I was overjoyed to get it blooming again, even if it was 17 months later. Even more unusual is I actually know the name of this orchid, instead of the noids I normally bring home!
