Birds in Mexico
Took a one day birding trip and saw some very nice birds. Taking photos of wild birds is just not easy for the novice photographer, especially when balancing a pair of binoculars and your field guide. But here are a couple. Although the macaw is tame, it is the type that inhabits this area in the wild - although they are endangered -
The Military Macaw - and yes, his face does get red when he is upset!
These two pics are not very good because this bird is wild and would land only for a few seconds. But a striking color combination. If you squint at the second picture you will see he has a bright blue face!
