Invasion of the fire ants.

Hey there...I read the advice about the ant problems in orchids.....but i wonder what to do about fire ants.There are a lot of fire ants that can't be treated the way regular ants can. They came in my house and invaded a few of my orchids. I am growing for breeding and future business one day.

Because they were swarming and biting me....there were so many all over my tiniest plants....and they weren't looking good anyway.....I tossed them.

i was worried about other plants getting infested. Believe me if you have ever been bitten by a fire ant....oh man I hate those. Anyway, I wonder if anyone knows any good thing to do. I sprayed and set up traps. Fire ants are so much harder to get rid of and I live in alabama....the captiol of fire ant land!

Any kind advice?
