Okay, I only have one phaph and I'm glad I only invested in one because I'm having trouble getting it to bloom. The leaf growth is fantastic. About 4 months ago, it started to spike and about 7 inches up the bud went limp and shriveled. I thought I had accidentally caught the stem on something and broke it so patiently waited for the next spike. It has spiked again and this time I made extra care not to break it. But now, about 7 inches up, the spike has shriveld once again and the bud has dried out. Sort of like damping off on a new seedling in the garden. What's the secret? Does the plant need to stay totally dry once it starts to spike. I kept the watering schedule the same throughout the whole process...once a week and kept the plant under my lights with the other guys. Help? What's the secret?
