During the first week I broke the crystal dome of my beautiful ceiling light hanging near the fireplace, which my hubbie and I bought for 650 euro (that's 1015 $). The replacement dome will cost 350 euro and still hasn't arrived from Italy. The funny thing is that I broke it when I was trying to assemple a 49 euro glass case for my orchids from a big box store. THAT DID NOT BREAK HOWEVER!!It broke the following day when I was trying very gently to put it back in the box and it just shattered in my hands. Needless to say I was so pissed I wanted to swallow the entire store catalogue.
The next week the handle of the big dish drawer fell apart while opening it with the same amount of strength as every day for the last 2 years. Then when I went to the fridge, I opened the ice box shelf and that broke at its base. That was fairly cheap (27 euro), but took 3 weeks for the order to arrive from Italy.
Then on the third week of April, while my hubbie was working overtime, I was feeling kind of bored and took his car out on a spin on a lovely spring afternoon. Well you can guess that it didn't end well. I spun on a slippery turn and barely nicked the front fender on the right had side, but RIGHT on the spot where 5 parts merge: the driver side wing, the headlight, the headlight washer, the hood and the fender. Total cost (with services) 1.300 euro (that's 2.030 $) because the headlight bottom plastic base broke and the xenon headlights only come in pairs. Damn Audi!!
Then, on the last week of March, while I was cooking, I opened the cupboard to get some spaghetti and for NO apparent reason, a full bottle of worstershire sauce toppled over, fell from the top shelf and shattered on the floor, spraying EVERYTHING in teeny tiny brown spots that just won't come off from my white kitchen walls! I had to spend 2 days with a q tip with bleach to erase the spots. AAAAARGH!

    so sorry. You win!

    Cheers,
    BD
