Catt jenmanii var coerulea

Yesterday I bought a Catt jenmanii var. coerulea x Brassavola nodosa cross. I am looking for info on the Catt jenmanii var coerulea. This plant is small and should bloom in about a year. I haven't been successful in finding anything in my books. Can anyone fill me in an the details of this species, I've been told its rare.

Since this plant was not "discovered" until the 1980's, not a lot is written about it. Everything I have learned about it indicates that it's culture is the same as the other jenmanii. Jenmanii are easy growers, native to Venezuela. Your cross should hopefully produce fragrant, lavender flowers. (depending on if this is a clone of a fragrant cultivar, or a new, seed produced version of the cross).

Thanks. I took a chance on it, looked to be an interesting cross. I originally went looking for Blc crosses and came across a grower who had more unusual things on her table.

I have the semi-alba form. The P-bulbs only grow to about 7" and the flowers are wonderfully fragrant.
