MY Sharry Baby

Its MY time to Bragg.

Here are some pics of my Sharry Baby ' Sweet Fragrance'.Its going to be judge for an award at a show this Saturday and I am hoping for am AM,as in the past an AM has be awarded to a plant that has a lower flower count and smaller flowers.

The stats
Spike length = 1200mm
Flower count = 94
Number of branches = 15
Natural spread of flower = 32mm
Natural spread of lip = 19mm

I have black spot on my Sharry Baby leaves, should I treat it with something?

Black spotting on the Oncidium alliance is mostly caused from leaves that are wet and exposed to strong sunlight--it causes tissue collapse and a secondary fungal infection. The spots usually don't spread, however..

avoiding the black spotting is more amazing to me. Congrats on keeping it spot free!!

I too keep a Sharry Baby but the 'tricolor' clone for it had a more condensed spike with the same wonderful chocolate/vanilla fragrance
