Phrag sedneii/ I can't stand it !!! It is open

The flower, I'm in love with, the slowness of the bloom ~~ driving me mad! I can tell already I'm in love.

Update since yesterday; it is finally open, well worth the wait.

The size of the actualy flower or plant? In another day or so, I can tell you the size of the full flower. The plant it self is rather large. There must be at least 5 growths on this plant. I had no idea where I was going to put it when I bought it, but I have a big bench now. I have all of my out of bloom plants on the bench , and blooming plants upstairs.

Thanks Traci, but Jmoney suggest I do some google search about Phaph venustum and I planned to do that tonigh after work. I will do a similar search about this beauty too ( forgot the name again !!! I'm hopeless with names).

Sedenii gets large. 20-30" LS at maturity, roughly. richteri is kind of variable. Most people tell me richteri gets large as well, in that same range, but I have a mature plant in spike that is staying about 12" in LS (not a first bloom seedling, but we'll see if it gets bigger down the road).

This is my first phrag. They are incredibly easy to grow. As long as I keep it in stading water, it is happier than a clam!
