hmm... I suppose compact is all relative...
the plant is a little shorter than the typical variety, but the flower size is the same.
some of you may be surprised to learn that this is a first time flowering... I had the plant for three years growing in a much more shaded position (Paph light) until late last year when, due to size, it had to be moved, so sunnier position and two leaves got burnt, but the resulting flowering means it will stay in that position in the future.
