This is an Oncidium Sharry Baby 'Sweet Fragrance' AM/AOS that Desertgal gave to me. It was originally a large plant that just kept growing and growing and quickly outgrew its 12" slat basket.
So I divided it into at least 8 plants and almost immediately 4 plants grew spikes.
This one has the fastest growing spike.
For some reason my camera has a hard time focusing on the flowers. I'm not sure if it is the colors or the shape that is throwing the auto-focus off.
I also tried a black background and the pictures ended up even worse with the flash.

The spike appears shorter and more compact because of the angle of the picture. The spike was leaning towards the camera.

I will try to take better pictures tomorrow. Small flowers on a swaying spike is always a challenge for me to photograph properly
