    Default Jumellea densifoliata

    Smallest of the Jumelleas! Thank goodness because they get huge. Ive had this guy for over a year now and Im pretty sure this is the first real blooming for him. Another Madagascar native, intermediate conditions. One flower per peduncle.

    Is that a root or a nectary hanging down behind it? Is it fragrant? It sure is lovely...

    Its a nectary spur. No fragrance detected, it just opened yesterday afternoon.

    great growing... looks like another flower about to come out too...

    the flower is lovely...i keep trying to think of what it reminds me of... with the fragrance, maybe it comes out more at night...
