The Big Stinky.....

Well, instead of a nice pretty catt...here is Stinky! lol My Stapelia is in bloom in a big way. Last time they were big flowers, this time they are HUGE! This plant is too cool! I sat it in a chair out front and ignored it and it did this. It's gotta be the orchid food.....
Oh Hey...All is good to go for Monday morning. And joy of joy's, my electric wheelchair arrives tomorrow afternoon. In time for me to test drive it and learn to steer left handed. I have all the furniture moved already so it should be pretty easy. I'm hoping I dont leave any permanent marks on the furniture! lol Blond Female Driver, look out world here I come! I had said if I got it through the VA I'd have to get a flying pig sticker. I always said I'd get my chair from them when pigs could fly. Gonna have to find a nice flag or sticker with a flying pig on it for the new chair I guess.
Anyways....I'll also include a few other pics from around the house and yard. See you all in a month or so....

A large white Amaryllis that seems to have a genetic tic as it looks like two or three in one. I like this look, hope it stays like this!

I don't know the name of this one, but it's pretty. The first blooming earlier this spring wasn't anywhere near this pretty.

Oops...in the last picture on the first post...those are some of my baby oranges....now how did they sneak in there?? lol

I think the plant that you don't know the name of is a Clivia of some sort.

Thank You...I'll let my neighbor know. She gave me this lovely thing a year ago and it took awhile to get flowers. It was worth the wait though.

Yowza, miss Clivia is a purty thang. Nice oranges, too! Good luck with the test drive. Hope you moved all the breakables! And congrats with your good fortune with the VA - been there, still there, done that, done it again, will probably have to do it again in triplicate - twice, and know what you mean!

Everything here grows like crazy. It's got to be the humidity and heat. Some plants that upnorth are small little houseplants are huge vining things here. Gotta love sunny florida!
