Is chloranthum one of the parents?

it's funny how cymbidiums are grown a fair amount but generally the complex hybrids are more popular... and hence these primary hybrids and species are really hard to work out...

Is one of the parents an Australian species?

if you are thinking of maddidum no as canulatum thats another no,I should mention for those who dont know.
maddidum has very large pbulbs but small flowers
canulatum is a mini but some varities have very high color

there is no fragrance (well none that I can detect) and no Aussie speices iether
