This one caught my eye today while in the greenhouse. I love the shape and the fuzzy coloring on the edges.

Oooh, very nice!
Lovely colours!
Hi B_D, had to drop a note about this phal as it is P. Newberry Parfait "Picotee" AM/AOS & AM/RHS.
I really wonder if anyone knows what the true P. Wedding Promanade looks like now. The name is used for every NOID under the sun at the big box stores. LOL
AL
I will update the thread title then. This was a purchase at my orchid society. They had a large donation from a big box store of dying plants. I got this one and one other and nursed them back from the brink. LOL. Maybe I switched the tags by mistake since the other is labeled P. Newberry Parfait 'Picotee' AM/AOS & AM/RHS. the P. Wedding Promanade is a solid, branching pink.
Cheers,

Yeah, sometimes those tags move all by themselves!
I have a plant I call Wedding Promename also. It sounds like your description. Actually I spent many hours reasearching that name and plant trying to tie down what it originally looked like. I think I found it but one can never be sure.
The newberry parafait is known for its multi-spiking. I cut the 5th spike off mine last year! Right not it has a spike with 2 keikis on it and a basal keiki as well !

Cool. I am just happy that mine is finally looking healthy and growing! It was not in very good shape when I got it. When I un-potted it, I actually found two plants in the same sphag mess. One with a spike (flowers fading fast) that had NO roots - tied to a plant that had a couple of leaves and a few, still alive roots. They were actually wired together! I threw away the one with no roots and the dying spike and repotted this one. It has been about a year.

I like flowers with picotee edges. I think it adds a sparkle to the plants.
