(what kind of orchid is it? Do you have a name tag?)

Thanks BD, I'll look at that. Yep digimomom, thats me new phal. What do I do with it now? Do I repot? Should I wait till tomarrow so I can water it in the morning?
Always wise to repot a new plant, gives you a chance to examine the root system. what is the humidity like where you live? That will affect how quickly your potting medium will dry. Low humidity- choose a slower drying medium, high humidity- select something that drains and dries rapidly.
