Brassia Little Stars Question

I traded for a little stars plant and i'm watching a sheath develop with lots of purple-ish and pink coloring on it.....So, do white and green flowers have colorful sheaths??? To me that means a flower with color. Sigh, did I get slipped a different variation?

I seem to remember that mine had some purple splotching on the sheaths but green and white flowers and so did the foliage...I keep mine in very high light
