I would have to agree that NOID's are near impossible to ID...even if your plant "looks" identical to another, it may not be. I know for some the name is important. After all we communicate with one another through names. I have a phal that I got as a NOID that looks similar to yours. The leaves are mottled like those of Phal schilleriana. About six months later my local garden shop was tossing out a plant that looked "exactly" like my NOID and it had a NAME! Whether the tag is correct or not with people pulling out tags to read them and replacing them in the wrong pot....how knows but the name on this discarded plant was Phal Little Mary Ava. The picture below is of my NOID, but both have identical flowers...are they, in fact, the same plant?????? For me it's the beauty of the flower and the joy of growing and patting ourselves on the back for a job well done
