Check your roots....all the leaves falling off is not a good sign, sounds like crown rot, or all the roots have rotted. If there are still good roots you "might" get a basal kieki, or a kieki might form on one of the spikes . Good Luck !

Jeff, do you have any Hydrogen Peroxide to pour on the rotten part? Try to make sure the rot stops there and doesn't work its way downward.
Use the Peroxide straight out of the bottle. What we get from our grocery store and pharmacy is all ready a diluted mixture.
Ok, I put a little bit of peroxide right into the crown where the leaves were and it fizzed a little. I'll keep yo posted.
You can also pinch the flower at the base of the bloom. You should be careful of any other bud growing at the same site. And, it’s true that you should remove them to encourage more blooms.
