    Default Macroclinium aurorae

    a super-miniature, cool growing species from Peru. The complete plant is smaller than than a US 50 cent piece. I wish I had better photo equipment to get a decent pic of this beauty. The spike is about 1.4" [3.5 cm] tall. I grow it shady mounted on treefern with a moss pad under it.

    How cool! The lip is cupid's arrow. Very pretty subtle bloom color. I wonder what pollinates it?
