I know many have asked members on this forum for their opinion about when is the correct time to remove a keiki and start it on its own....so are we there, yet?Roots 1, 2 and 3 are all relatively new, while root 4 is old and the end has shriveled and dried leaving only about 1/2 of it round and firm.

That guy is huge for a keiki! I always wait till they have really good roots. I also leave on the old spike and use it to support the plant in its new pot. Good luck.



But since I've posted this pick, and on an unrelated topic, but what makes the leaves split like this one???? Too rapid growth????
