Phal Violecea 'Borneo'
This little cutie opened up today; smells like tropical citrus, really yummy! Best fragrance in the morning, in the sun. Bloom is about 1.5" across.
Thanks! ~Becky

"Leave me...with your Borneo...I don't need..that much to keep me warm."

Two great blooms! How did you manage to get your plants here in such good shape that the flowers are opening? Did you get to Villa Park?
What did you do with your Violecia??Mine are struggling along. In fact I just found my baby with rotted off leaves yesterday. I wasn't happy. The humidity and daily storms are taking a toll along with the heat. Its rough in Florida in August. I cannot wait for the fall cool down!

Beautiful, Becky. The pink coloration looks airbrushed on.
Well done Becky. Next try to get mentawai and Malaysia violacea easy to grow.
Becky--that really is a beauty. I love violaceas. Yours really has beautiful color distribution.
Just out of curiosity--is its clonal name really "Borneo"? I guess that just catches my eye since there there's the whole violacea/bellinas used to be violacea var Borneo thing. But either way, I guess it makes sense since they do originally come from Borneo.

I know this post is super old, but all violacea var. Borneo have been reclassified as Phalaenopsis bellina.
