    And my favorite orchid in bloom currently would have to be this potinara. We have a couple of these in bloom right now. I will post one plant in this post and then another plant in the next post since I can only upload four photos at a time. I wish you could see the intensity of the color on this one in person. I love it.

    With just that little bit of yellow in the middle, it makes me think of a deep red sunset. No wonder it's your favorite. The orchid that seems to be staring down from above in the first two pictures made me smile too.
