You can't confuse frost damage with much else: leaves turn brown haphazardly, a side facing the cold or a chill wind bearing the brunt: the damage doesn't start form any specific location that would signify another probable cause: not from spots, or leaf-tips. One day, everything's ok, the next day, after damage from cold, half the plant has turned brown. There's no remedy or cure for the affected parts. As long as the cold hasn't affected the crown or heart of the plant, new growth will eventually take over and the plant will survive.
