    Smile Bl. Morning Glory


    I went away for a few days and when I got home I found this lovely thing newly opened. I had found it recently at a local nursery, in the back section growing spikes unnoticed. They weren't huge yet, just had started poking out in fact. It was a lucky find, because if the lady that runs the nursery had seen it getting ready to bloom, it would have been taken up front and the price doubled as it comes from a well known company. I just love how big the flowers turned out.

    It's a little over 5 inches across...with the petals curled back.

    One of my favorites, Mine tried to commit orchiside this summer but is on the mend now.
