I like the dark coloring in the left photo. I wish I could grow some of these, but it just gets too hot here. Thanks for sharing this one.

Wow...This orchid have multiple flower spikes good growing, pretty too. Like Bruce I killed one due to high temperature.
You certainly 'wowed' us with this one. The color combo is very pretty.
It can get very hot here. It is not unusual to be over 100 degrees for 30+ days in July and August. Orchids that need to be cool must live against the kool-cell and they just don't do well for us at all.

Masds are so varied. I had a few of the more warm tolerant hybrids and species, but even still, it was a lot of work to make them happy if you don't have a temp-controlled terrariaum.
Some of the species barely opened, others were spectacular. There's just so much variability. If your guy has been blooming since this summer, Pavel, then I'd say your doing something right!
It's a handsome flower. Not a stunner, but it earns extra credit for its staying power!
